PHYSICAL THERAPY FREDERICK

Frederick Sport and Spine opened our first Physical Therapy Frederick facility on Thomas Johnson Drive almost 20 years ago.  Our commitment to excellence, not only in sports but in all that we do, brought accolades from referring doctors and patients alike.  Sports Physical therapy not only helps athletes, it helps return any post-injury or post-surgical patient to the best they can be.  Our focus on educating our patients to be their own physical therapist has always been a core principle.   You will find our staff of Ph.D. and Certified therapist to be attentive, expert and always working as a team for your benefit.

We set the standard for Physical Therapy Frederick and In all of three of our Frederick County clinics, the professional staff regularly utilizes specific manual techniques to address tightness or lack of movement in muscles and joints.  These techniques are invaluable but are never effective if neuromuscular re-education is not incorporated into the program with specific exercises and instruction.  We find the combination of manual techniques and patient-focused exercises provides the best results, getting you better faster and keeping you healthy and moving normally.  Our Association and membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) offer outstanding educational content to keep you healthy and injury free.

Our original clinic, the Frederick Physical Therapy facility is outfitted with all the equipment needed, including an in-clinic therapy pool, to improve performance by increasing strength, flexibility, and endurance.  Over the years, we added the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill.  This amazing technology will hasten your recovery by allowing you to move without your normal weight interfering with movement.
