Mark’s expertise is in Sports Physical Therapy and has a specific interest in shoulder dysfunction and injury.  He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and Board Certified in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) by the APTA. This makes him one of only 3 physical therapists in Maryland with this dual certification.  He uses techniques from numerous Continuing Education classes to create a program of release, re-build and re-education to help you reach your goals.

Mark has treated athletes of all levels and from a wide variety of sports. Mark is currently the Physical Therapist for the Frederick Keys, the Baltimore Orioles Class “A” minor league baseball team and was affiliated with the Men’s ATP Tennis tour and the Champions tour while in California.  He is certified at Medical Level II thru the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) for golfers who have injuries and a desire to return to the game of golf. He works with the elite soccer players for FC Frederick Soccer Club (FSSC is the official Sports Medicine Providers to FCFrederick).  He also enjoys working with industrial athletes who come to the clinic with work-related injuries. Making the treatment plan specific to the person and the activity is paramount in getting you back to your desired level of participation!

Mark is a current member of the APTA and has served as the Western District Chairman for Maryland.  He is the proud father of twins, Dominick and Siena and husband to his wife, Jodene.  He enjoys all sports from afar, is a die-hard New York fan with a keen obsession for the Yankees and enjoys Golf, Cycling and the occasional soccer game. He also loves spending time in his ‘97 Jeep Wrangler and his hammock.
